The Social Media Dashboard, with its light theme beside its dark one

Social Media Dashboard

Social Media Dashboard needed one screen to carry four platforms and eight of today's metrics, in a light theme and a dark one. The hard part was the switch, which sweeps the new theme out from the toggle.

Project Background

Social Media Dashboard is where one account holder watches four platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube, with follower counts and eight cards of today's views, likes and retweets. They came with the interface drawn twice, light and dark, and a switch that survives a reload with no flash of the wrong theme. Nine pairings sat under the accessible contrast threshold, the deltas moving opposite ways per theme. Scope ran from 320 up, and all four Lighthouse scores land at 100.
