The Shortly landing page, with its link shortening form

Shortly

Shortly needed a landing page that shortens a link in place and remembers every result. I proxied the request server-side, so the browser never touches the upstream API, and the saved list survives a reload.

Project Background

Shortly sells branded short links and the click analytics behind them, and this page had to carry the pitch and the product at once: paste a long URL, get a short one back, copy it, and find it still there on the next visit. They came with a cyan and dark violet palette, three features to land in a row, and their own wording for every error the form can raise. Six of its colour pairings needed darkening to clear the accessible contrast threshold. Scope ran from 375 up, and the page prerenders as static with all four Lighthouse categories at 100.
