The Ping coming-soon page, with its email signup

Ping

Ping was launching soon and needed somewhere to send everyone asking about it. I built the notify-me screen as a static page whose email field carries its own error copy and announces failures to screen readers.

Project Background

Ping was weeks from opening and had nowhere to point the people already asking after it. The brief was one screen: say what is coming, take an email address, and hold up from 375 to 1440 on a light palette built around a single blue. Small scope, tight tolerances. The field validates on the client in Ping's own wording rather than the browser's, and its message sits outside the layout so the page never reflows around it. All four Lighthouse categories land at 100, mobile and desktop.
