The Dine site, with its home page beside the reservation form on its booking page

Dine

Dine needed a site that sells the room and then takes the booking. I built the landing page and the reservation flow, and the hard part was a date and time entry that refuses an impossible slot as you type.

Project Background

Dine is a farmhouse restaurant in Marthwaite, Sedbergh, serving a seasonal menu of locally sourced food since 1989. They came with two pages: one to sell the room, the menu and the private events to someone who has never been, and one to take the booking without a phone call. The menu, the three event types and every field in the reservation form are driven from data rather than markup. Scope ran from 320 up, and Lighthouse reads 100 four times over.
